Design / Services:

Do you provide free design and measurement services?
  • If the customer is able to provide photos of the job site and a rough measurement, we can provide a complimentary design and estimate based on the design. If you would like for us to come out and measure the space and provide a consultation for your potential project, we apply an initial $99 fee which will be credited to your invoice if you choose to continue working with us and sign a contract with us. 
How long does it take to receive an estimate quote and design?
  • Once we acquire enough information for your project, the estimated turnaround time for a design and quote is 1 to 3 business days
Who do you provide your services and products to?
  • Our clientele base ranges from homeowners, real estate agencies/brokers, and contractors/builders.
Do you provide cabinet installation services and if so, how much does it cost?
  • Every project is unique. The bill of work is calculated based on but not limited to three main factors; 1) the number of cabinets, 2) design features, and 3) job site condition/location. For example, a project that consists of cabinets with a pantry cabinet will cost more than the same design but without a pantry cabinet. If additional work is needed to install moldings or light fixtures, these services will be factored into the installation fee. The accessibility of space and location of the job site will also be factored into the fee, as these conditions can complicate the installation process. For example, a job site on the 6th floor of a condominium is going to have higher installation fees than a job site on the 1st floor. 
How much do countertops and the installation services for countertops cost?
  • Our fabricators calculate the price based on the countertop material, style, availability, square footage, cutout services, labor, and installation. In certain cases where the selected countertop style is not in stock, the customer may be charged by slab and not by specific square footage.

DO YOU HAVE A SHOWROOM WHERE WE CAN SEE YOUR PRODUCTS ON DISPLAY?
  • Yes! You can see our selections of cabinets, hardware, flooring, and countertops at our showroom during store hours from 9 AM to 6 PM on Weekdays (Monday – Friday) and 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays. If you are going to visit within an hour of closing time, it is highly recommended to call ahead to ensure you will be able to tour the showroom. 
CAN I CUSTOMIZE THE CABINET DOOR STYLE AND COLORS?
  • Depending on which cabinetry brands you select, the options for door style and colors can vary. As you move from luxury stock cabinets, and semi-custom cabinets to full custom cabinets, your customizable options will increase.
DO THE DOORS AND DRAWERS COME WITH SOFT-CLOSE SYSTEMS?
  • Yes! All of our cabinets include the slow-closing hinge and drawer glider system. 
What material are your cabinets made of?
  • The materials used to build our cabinet doors can range in wood species such as alder, cherry, hickory, maple, red oak, white oak, and walnut, with full custom cabinets having the most variety. The box construction of our cabinets is made with either ½, ⅝, or ¾ thick plywood.

Ordering / Shipping:

What if I like the design and estimates but want to begin my installation a couple of months later?
  • We understand that your plans and timeline may change due to your specific circumstance and we will do our best to accommodate your timeline. However, our quote is only valid for 1 month due to changes to prices and other factors that may occur during that time. 
Is the freight cost applied to the total cost?
  • No, in general for orders that are placed through consolidated shipments, we will waive the freight costs. This lead time is estimated to be around 2 to 6 weeks. If however, you need to receive orders before the 2 to 6-week timeline, your order shipment will be expedited as a FedEx shipment to arrive within 5 business days and the associated freight costs would be applied.
How long does it take to receive my cabinets from the purchase date?
  • The cabinet order has a lead time of anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks.
Can we pick up our order instead of having them delivered?
  • Yes, once the cabinets are delivered and assembled at our showroom, you can reach out to us to coordinate a pick-up date.
How much is the home delivery cost?
  • Depending on the distance and the number of trips required, the delivery fee can range anywhere from $150 to $300. For example, any delivery less than 15 miles with only one required trip will be at the lowest rate of $150. 

Payments / Financing

What payment methods do you accept?
  • We accept all major credit cards networks such as Discover, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express as well as bank checks, cash, and ACH/Electric Fund deposits (EFT). 
Is there a credit card payment fee and if so how much is it?
  • If the purchase amount is less than $1,500, there is no processing fee. Any amount greater than $1,500 will include a processing fee of 3% of the total amount.

RETURN POLICIES & WARRANTIES:

What is your return policy?
  • Ordered the Wrong Size/Style:

    Every kitchen design is unique to each customer hence orders must be pre-approved by the customer’s before finalizing sales. Once invoices are approved and payments are made, payments become non-refundable. 

    While we are more than willing to correct our mistakes on our part, we can not be held responsible for measuring errors (if measuring services not provided by us) or if the color is not what you expected (we strongly encourage customers to visit our showroom in order to see the products in person). 

  • Restocking Fee: Cancellations and returns after purchase are subject to a 25% restocking fee and the product must be in resellable condition. You will also be responsible for the shipping costs associated with your return. The returns must be received by Allen’s Cabinet within 30 days of purchase to be eligible for a refund. Your money will be refunded within 30 days of us receiving the product and completing our inspection for any damages. If damages are found, we will notify you and you will be responsible for filing a claim with the carrier to get reimbursed.
ARE YOUR CABINETS COVERED BY A WARRANTY?
  • Cabinets are covered by a limited manufacturing warranty and will vary between different cabinet products. However, in most cases, the warranty is only applicable to indoor residential use and does not cover products used in commercial or outdoor areas. Warranties are also non-transferable and only apply to the original purchasing consumer. Warranties do not cover defects from normal wear and tear, improper storage, handling or installation, or modifications. 

  • This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective component parts at our discretion. Our liability is expressly limited to the cost of materials for the repair or replacement of defective goods. We may elect to repair or replace the product with a product of equal or lesser value and complementary style if the original style is no longer available. Due to the aging process of natural wood, Allen’s Cabinet can’t guarantee an exact match between the finish of the existing product and the replacement product.
